Nevermind (Nirvana) against Dangerous (Jackson)

Have you ever tried to compare incomparable things? You may try it in your essay papers writing or academic writings. Nevermind by Nirvana rached the first position in Billboard chart in 1992 and replaced Michael Jackson’s Dangerous. What was the reason? This is exactly the point you should consider.

Nevermind was the second album by the band . There were such singles as Smells Like Teen Spirit, Lithium, Come as You Are, and others. Guitar World wrote “Kurt Cobain's guitar sound on Nirvana's Nevermind set the tone for Nineties rock music”. So, it appears to be natural that the death of the band leader, Kurt Cobain because of drugs overdose was the end for the band.

Returning to Nevermind, it should be mentioned that the rock band created an album full of generic punk-pop which made it specific and exciting. Thinking about other songs and albums by the band, I cannot think about another album which would be as great as Nevermind is. There are better songs, but not an album, for sure. Cobain once said, "Music comes first, lyrics come second". When you listen to the album, it becomes understandable what he meant. Kurt Cobain was always interested in music more. He did not care greatly of the lyrics which supported music. It can be said that Nevermind was devoted to Tobi Vail. The relationships between Tobi Vail and Kurt Cobain did not get on and after their break-up Cobain wrote his best music and the most memorable songs.
